I have been following Lucy's myspace with some interest .. since she set it up in 2007. This is a girl with an instinct for harmonic tension and a certain etherial and dark beauty to her music. Influences cited are Jewel, Imogen Heap, Emiliana Torrini, Martin Grech, Fink, Sufjan Stevens, Ingrid Michaelson ..... but it is clear that Mr Grech and Ms Heap are the prime movers here |
